The question of whether Christians must vote is a hotly contested one in the Christian church; and while there are no explicit commands in Scripture to vote we are commanded to seek the good of the city in which we dwell. Christians, like all citizens, are faced with an array of issues to vote for, and the one issue which must drive the way Christians serve their communities is the preciousness of the image of God. And Christians must be controlled not by fear, or anger, or worry, but by the deep conviction that the true Ruler of the world is not any country, or any leader or political party, but King Jesus himself, who is orchestrating his sovereign rule over the world until the day when he returns and takes the kingdom completely as his own.

Lutheran Young Adults (LYA) November Event
Is Confession Good for the Soul?

Confession is a word and practice that we associate with our church life. How does one make a good confession? To whom should we confess? Does it simply mean to admit our sins? Confession is something of a broad topic, but we put it under the microscope on the most recent episode of the Craving Answers, Craving God podcast. Check it out!

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child is underway! What is Operation Christmas Child? People pack shoebox gifts to bless children in need around the world. After receiving a shoebox gift, children can enroll in a 12-lesson follow-up discipleship program, The Greatest Journey. As a result of what they learn, boys and girls grow in Christ and share Him with others! Please take a shoebox, label and instructions from the narthex or downstairs and return it to church no later than November 17th. These shoeboxes should be packed, wrapped and returned by November 17th. For more information about youth events or to get involved with the Youth Ministry Team please contact Stacey Staake.
