Jesus’ Hands and Ours – The Ascension of Jesus

Did you realize that when Jesus was ascending to heaven that He was in the middle of blessing people with hands lifted up? Those hands of Jesus did so much but He had to ascend to heaven so that blessings would still be given to us. What blessings? The Holy Spirit, the Sacraments, and the promise that He will return in the same way to take us to heaven!! With all those blessings, we rejoice as the first disciples and lift up our hands to bless and praise and give thanks to Jesus!
