John's church was attacked from within by teachers who taught that Jesus was not actually a physical being and that salvation was not about a restored relationship with God but about secret knowledge of God gained privately by the enlightened initiated. John attacks this false teaching with the reality of Easter: the God-man Jesus breaks through the barrier between us and him, revealing the light of truth to all men, forgiving our sins, and restoring us to a relationship with him and each other.

Readings and sermon were delivered by Pastor Aaron Mueller.

Craving Answers, Craving God

We are grateful to the many people who tell us that they have sampled Craving Answers, Craving God and found it to be time well spent. Our most recent episode (number 88) takes up the subject of legalism. Is it good or bad to be a legalist? Listen at your convenience and let us know what you think!
