Humans have searched for ways to deal with the reality of death – everything from medical advances, psychological therapy, and existential fatalism have been used to try, however unsuccessfully, to deal with the fact that everyone dies. But when death is seen not as a technical but as a theological problem, we can be liberated to look to God for mercy, which he freely gives us by grace in his son Jesus, who rose from the dead creating a path through death and out the other side to eternal life.
