The quest for political power has burdened the shoulder of the world's peoples since Adam and Eve fell in the Garden, but when Jesus comes he promises to take upon his own omnipotent shoulder the crushing burden of the world's government, and while he is crushed by this weight he rises with it to become the Lord and King of the universe.
