Helping Hands

Whether it’s a box of cereal or a pair of warm socks, we have the means to make a huge difference in the lives of the less fortunate. Please consider supporting two amazing local organizations, Gateway 180 and Violence Prevention Center Southwestern Illinois, by donating some basic personal wear or care items. A list of items needed can be found on the church bulletin board or at the donation box outside the church office. Donations must be received by Nov. 13. Questions? Contact Jonathan Schnicker 479-871-2566 or call the church office.

Can Prayer Change God’s Mind?

When you pray, is it possible that your prayers can influence God to change his mind? Or is the mind of God fixed and unchangeable? Does God ever change course based on the prayers of his people? Aaron and Chuck discuss these questions on the most recent episode of Craving Answers, Craving God available now on the at cacg.saintjamesglencarbon.org.
