In spite of (or because of!) his blindness and poverty, Bartimaeus is the disciple that so many others in Mark's gospel aren't, because he abandons all he is and owns and follows Jesus on the road to the cross.

Christmas Wreaths
St. James youth are taking orders for Christmas Wreaths to support their trip to the Youth Gathering July 2022. Don’t miss out on these wonderful, fresh, very aromatic wreaths which will be delivered to you the first week of December. The candle ring wreath is $20 and is about 14″ in diameter. The door wreath is about 22″ in diameter and is $35. There is a sign up on the church office bulletin board. Please deposit payment in the locked mailbox on the office door. Collections for our Madison County Elementary Schools Mission

Collections for our Madison County Elementary Schools Mission are underway! With the weather getting colder we are in need of the following:

  • Children’s cloth face masks (Kindergarten – 5th Grade) Boys & Girls
  • Waterproof gloves (Children’s Small, Medium, Large Kindergarten – 5th Grade)
  • Hats (Children’s Small, Medium & Large Kindergarten – 5th Grade)
