Because God became a physical human to rescue physical humans, the salvation he won for us on the cross and from the empty tomb must necessarily be physical, if it's to be salvation at all. And in the Lord's Supper this physical salvation is given to his people – through the flesh of God, the Spirit of God, and the Word of God.

National Youth Gathering

Calling all High School Students! Next July is the National Youth Gathering in Houston, TX. We will have an informational meeting on Sunday, September 12th at noon. If you are at all interested in going to the Gathering, bring a parent and come find out more. We will discuss the registration fee due date, approximate overall cost, transportation, and fundraisers. If you are interested in going to the Gathering, but can’t make the meeting, be sure to let one of the Youth Leaders know.

St James Life Ministries Kick-off Celebration & Speaker

We will be kicking off our Life Ministry and 40 Days for Life sign-up on August 29 with special speaker Kristi Hofferber during Bible Study. Kristi is a pro-life and adoption advocate who shares a message about the value of life. Between and after services in the narthex, there will be guessing games, hands-on activities, pro-life swag and a sign-up for 40 Days for Life! After the late service there will be a cake walk featuring homemade cakes from members and Kruta’s bakery! Come and hear Kristi speak and join in the special activities praising God for the gift of life and find out how you can become involved. If you would like to donate a cake, please let me know.
