Thank you to all the volunteers that helped at the Community Service Project at Valley Ridge Senior Apartment Complex. It was was a great success! We were blessed with a beautiful morning and wonderful volunteers to finish this project! The first phase of this project was a spring clean up of the landscaping beds in April. On May 14th we completed the project by delivering flowers and spreading 2 full skids – 120 bags of mulch among 18 senior residences! In addition, some volunteers helped the residents rearrange their garden decorations and furniture. But, the best part of the entire project was the opportunity to spread God’s love among this group of senior citizens. They were so appreciative of the results of the project and filled with joy at having the opportunity to visit and engage with the volunteers! Praise God for this amazing opportunity to serve our community and share His love.
