Our youth group is partnering with Samaritan’s Purse to provide shoebox gifts which will be distributed to millions of children throughout the world who have never received a gift! Shoeboxes, instructions, including gift ideas, and labels are available in the narthex. Please deliver your boxes to the church by Sunday, November 17.
Wondering what to pack? Start with a quality “wow” item such as a stuffed animal or soccer ball with pump that will capture the child’s attention the instant he or she opens the box. To see more gift suggestions, please check out St. James Operation Christmas Child – Shoebox Gift Suggestions or How to Pack a Shoebox. To identify the sex and age group of the child for which you have packed, please print a label or pick one up in the church narthex to be fastened to the outside of your box before returning it to the church.
