Many thanks to everyone who provided food, cleaning products, personal care products and clothing to families in Edwardsville and Glen Carbon during 2022! Your donations provided much needed support to families in our community who struggle to make ends meet- especially when all of us are feeling the effects of inflation! St. James Lutheran donated an average of 46 pounds of food per month to provide for our neighbors. Thank you!
Here are some ways to support Glen-Ed Pantry in 2023:
- Save Reward Points from the grocery store and use them to purchase pantry donations
- When you go shopping, buy 2 items and donate one to Glen-Ed Pantry
- Use Glen-Ed Pantry’s “12-Months of Giving” guide to donate seasonal items
- Check Glen-Ed Pantry’s website (www.glenedpantry.org) to see what items are most-needed.
- Donate your time. Sign-ups for special volunteer opportunities and serving as a regular volunteer are on-line.
- Donate your treasure. Regular or one-time donations in any amount help Glen-Ed Pantry make wholesale purchases of fresh foods and other much-needed items.
- Refer families in Edwardsville and Glen Carbon who need food and clothing to Glen-Ed Pantry. They can make an appointment on-line or by calling Amy at 618-656-7506.
- Pray that Glen-Ed Pantry will be able to meet the needs of families in our community.
