In this epistle reading, Paul reminds the Romans that God specifically chose them before the world. And those he chose he also justified and glorified.
Paul then explains the implications of this message, it means that nothing can separate them from the love of God. Nothing that they face in this world can remove the fact that God sent His only Son to die on the cross to justify them before God. Paul explains the true comfort that God has given to them through the love in His son Jesus Christ.
