February is Healthy Eating Month at Glen-Ed Pantry. Did you know that client families choose their own foods, and the Pantry encourages healthy shopping choices? Help the pantry stock their shelves with healthy options by donating foods such as whole grain pasta, fruit packed in 100% juice, low sodium vegetables, soups and sauces as well as items that are fat-free and sugar free.

Donation idea: Consider using your reward points from the grocery store to purchase pantry donations.

We will need volunteers to hand-deliver cards in the Glen Carbon area after church on Sunday, February 12th. Registration is now open for the 2023 LCMS Life Conference, which will be held March 2–3 at the LCMS International Center in St. Louis and online. The conference will provide Lutherans with resources to faithfully proclaim what God’s Word teaches about life, health, marriage and family.

St. James Spring Workday will be April 1st. Please mark your calendars for a day of service on the church property. We will work on landscaping, indoor and outdoor maintenance and cleaning. We need you – many hands make light work!
