God's people are horribly victimized by an oppressive, evil overlord, but they learn to grapple with the horror of their situation through corporate repentance, faith in God's sovereign love, and leaning on the future advocate, Jesus, who will represent them and successfully defend them against their enemies.

Readings and sermon were delivered by Pastor Aaron Mueller.

Card Shower!
For Valentine’s Day, we are showing our love by holding a card shower for our elderly members unable to attend service. What is a card shower? We have provided a packet of cards for you on the table in the narthex. You may take home a packet and fill the cards with a message, Bible verse, picture from the kids, or word of encouragement and return them to church by Sunday, February 13. We are looking for 7 volunteers to hand deliver cards in the Glen Carbon area after church on Sunday, February 13. Please contact the church office if you are interested in being a volunteer.
