We tend to place our hope in many things, such as our abilities, jobs, savings, doctors, politicians, etc. None of these are bad in and of themselves. However, in his conversation with a man named Nicodemaus, Jesus teaches us to place our hope not in the things of this world, but in God. This hope is not in just any god, but a specific God comprised of three entities, or persons. Explore the mystery of the Trinity and why followers of Jesus place their hope in this God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to respond to the survey

Thank you to everyone who took the time to respond to the survey. Your patience and love for each other over the past year-and-a-half are a testimony to the work of grace the Holy Spirit has been doing at St. James.

Beginning Sunday, June 13th, we will be holding two worship services: a masked service at 8 AM and a mask-optional service at 10:45 AM. Adult Bible study and children’s Sunday school will meet at 9:30 AM, mask-optional, with the adult study taking place in the sanctuary in order to distance as much as possible.

For those of us still unable to attend in person, the 10:45 AM service will be live streamed.
