The Shame and Glory of Following Jesus – Second Sunday in Lent

The victory of Jesus only happens through the failure of the cross, and since Christians are called to take up that cross and follow Jesus, he encourages us to reorder our ideal of the heroic so we can see the scandal of the cross as true glory.
