Nathanael was instantly attracted to Jesus because he knew him and accepted him. Jesus, using a strong parallel between the calling of Nathanael and the calling of Jacob in the book of Genesis, shows us that his love for us increases with his knowledge of us because he is a God who transforms us from deceitful to true Israel, from lost to forgiven.

Readings were delivered by Pastor Jon Lange. Sermon was delivered by Pastor Aaron Mueller.
