The past several months have been strange and difficult for most of us. The lack of our normal patterns of social interaction, the infrequency of in-person time spent with our extended families and close friends, and the absence of worship together in the sanctuary with its fellowship, singing of hymns, and Holy Communion have created a challenge and strain to our usual way of life. In spite of this, God continues to work – proving once again that the resurrection power of Jesus is far greater than the brokenness of our fallen world!

On June 14 we resumed limited in-person worship services at St James. We continue to hold two services each Sunday. The 9:00 a.m. service is held with a limited congregational size. To sign up for the 9:00 a.m. limited service, see Resuming in-person worship. IMPORTANT: You must sign up each week. We are very sorry for this inconvenience but this is the best way to ensure we can take the necessary precautions and plan accordingly.

If in-person worship is not something you feel comfortable with at this time, no worries. The livestream of the 9 a.m. service will continue on our YouTube channel and the recorded video and audio will be posted to the sermons page shortly after the completion of our services. Our virtual Bible studies will also continue with the Sunday Bible study taking place from 12:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. See the Online Bible study post for details and to request an invite.

For a convenient and safe way to send your offering, have a look at Introducing Online Giving / Tithing. You can also send tithes and offerings by mailing a check to the church. Additionally, many banks offer free bill pay services which will allow you to add St James as a payee and send a check for you. If you have questions or concerns regarding any of these options or the process, please contact us.

We will continue to monitor the situation and make decisions regarding future services and events. As new information becomes available, updates will be made to this post.
