What are your favorite things about St. James? Getting to know each other; community groups; being able to participate in the music; PASTOR MUELLER!!!!!—not necessarily in that order 🙂 

How long have you been at St. James?About 4 years

Where were you before St. James? Trinity, Edwardsville

What is your favorite memory at St. James? Having a church summer picnic at our house; the mission trip to Minnesota with the Youth Group

Likes: Music, Keith and Kristin Getty, Gardening and visiting other gardens and sharing my garden, Genealogy, Christmas/Decorations, being outside as much as possible.
Dislikes: Biscuits and Gravy, Being cold, Bradford Pear Trees and Japanese Honeysuckle 

Past Profession: Medical Laboratory (Microbiology) Director at Christian Hospital

Hobbies: Master Gardener and Master Naturalist, Working on our family tree, Volunteering at the Stephenson House gardens and the University of Illinois Horticulture Helpline    

Alma Maters: St. Paul Lutheran School Hamel (Grades 1-8), then Edwardsville High School, then SIUE.  

Spouse:Chuck Rathert (married my high school sweetheart–married for 48 years); kids–Katie Kosten, Annie Frey and Joey Rathert; we have 9 grandchildren and all are local which is SUCH a blessing.
