The Education Team consists of many programs that range from Preschool Sunday School to Metro East Lutheran High School Board of Directors Representatives! Some of our programs include:
- Youth Education – Sunday School
- Pre-K – 2
- 3rd -5th Grade
- 6th – 8th Grade

- Adult Education
- Men’s Bible Study – Wednesdays 6:30 AM
- Women’s Bible Study – Saturdays 9:00 AM

We currently have the following opportunities to serve in Education with no experience necessary! And it comes with great benefits: joy, smiles, fun and fulfillment to name a few!
Summer Sunday School helpers! We plan to host a VBS style Sunday school this year and need helpers to prepare the materials, help with crafts, provide supervision and share Jesus with our youth.
Substitute Teachers – (Sub for a day, or sub for a session). This allows our teachers an opportunity to attend Adult Bible study and it’s a great way to “test the waters” for teaching. The curriculum is already prepared with easy instructions to follow. New substitutes can “visit” the classroom and assist the teacher until they feel ready to go “solo.”
Teacher Assistants – Becoming an assistant is a great way to help this ministry. Assisting with craft, snack, and story time is a fun and easy way to make a big impact in the classroom.
Education Team Leaders – Team leaders are essential to our ministry. Leaders assist the Education Deacon with curriculum selection, teacher training and developing new opportunities in education.
