Meet Pastor Aaron Mueller

Pastor Mueller accepted the call to serve as the full-time pastor at St. James Lutheran Church in Glen Carbon in January 2019. 

Having experienced failure as a pastor, husband, father, and friend, Aaron is passionate about experiencing God’s grace in a community of people who share in each other’s brokenness and learn to see themselves as accepted by God in Jesus.

 He has pastored for nine years now, having earned degrees in English from Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina, and Masters Degrees from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis.

In addition to pastoring, Aaron teaches religion and history at Lewis and Clark Community College. He is married to Angela, a journalist, and they have three kids – Harry, Kate, and Reeve.
